About POPX.

POPX is a custom family of operators that extends TouchDesigner’s POPs (Point Operators). A network of generators, falloffs, modifiers, solvers, and tools - composable, real-time, all on the GPU. Designed for production work, not prototyping toys.

Every operator is built on one underlying data model: packed POPX Geometry, where each point carries position, rotation, scale, and pivot. That makes transformations cheap and stackable, and lets POPX networks scale to millions of instances without leaving the GPU.

The artist behind the toolkit.

Yuval, also known as Mini UV, is a real-time generative artist and TouchDesigner developer focused on simulation, physics, and GPU-based workflows. With a background in electrical engineering, he discovered TouchDesigner while exploring interactive systems, which led him into real-time graphics and generative work.

Over the past five years, he has developed a system-driven approach to visual creation, working with particles, fields, and procedural structures to simulate natural phenomena in real time.

He is the creator of POPX, an extension of TouchDesigner’s POPs that expands them into a full GPU-based ecosystem. It includes generators, falloffs, modifiers, solvers, and tools for building complex behaviors, along with systems for instancing, materials, and a custom path tracer. POPX is built as a practical, production-focused toolkit for artists and developers working with advanced real-time systems.
