Constraints Merge

tools/constraints-merge·v1.5.1
IN:2  OUT:3

Constraints Merge joins any number of simulated objects before a Nexus solver. Wire in only each object's geometry: for every input the operator finds the nearest Constraints, Constraint Property or Constraints Merge operator upstream, fetches its constraints and target geometry, and outputs merged Geometry, Constraints and Target Geometry streams.

Point references in the constraints, welds and pieces are renumbered on the GPU so each object keeps its own connections in the merged stream. Build cloth, soft bodies or hair separately with their own constraint settings, then merge them so they simulate and collide together; Visualize Constraints draws the merged constraints as lines.

PAGEMerge
InputsInputsNumber of inputs to merge. Each block is one input, either wired or set in In POP(s).
In POP(s)Inputs0popA reference to a POP to merge when this input is not wired.
In POP(s)Inputs1popA reference to a POP to merge when this input is not wired.
Visualize ConstraintsVisualizeconstraintsDisplay the constraints as lines between the points they join.
PAGECommon
BypassBypassPass through the first input to the output unchanged.
Free Extra GPU MemoryFreeextragpumemFree memory that has accumulated when output memory has grown and shrunk.
Input 0 POP - Geometry 1
Input 1 POP - Geometry 2
